Springing into March
Well what can I say? Where do I start?
What a month February has been and I cannot believe we are now into March and how exciting have the last few weeks been?
We have now finally moved into our unit and like so many of you who sent me messages of congratulations, you all couldn’t believe that all that ‘stuff’ had been stored in my house. It is unbelievable now when we look back, that we had room to move. My fear is now though that we are filling the unit quickly but it is so lovely to have space and not to be tripping up over each other. Let see how long it lasts!
We still have a number of boxes to unpack and we definitely need some shelving and more tables to be able to have some different areas for the products that I make. It will take time to get it how we want and to also get into a routine. I actually have to go ‘out to work’ now, that’s going to take some getting used to! I have loved working from home, being around for my boys and not forgetting Connie our Tibetan terrier. I definitely need to get organised now as to when I will get things like the washing and housework done.
So we have started this month off with not only moving into the unit and getting into a new routine, but we have also managed to package up and send out a huge amount of subscription boxes this month. Our first month in February was such a success that I didn’t think we would beat it but you’ve proved me wrong. I had to increase the number we offered and it looks like I will have to increase it again for April. I am so pleased you are loving them. This month is especially exciting, as we have launched a new scent for our soaps. If you have subscribed to the March Box, you will be the first to try it out. Please let me know what you think. If you aren’t a subscriber then don’t worry it will be launching on 15thMarch, so not long to wait. I am also trying to support some other small businesses within my box and this month there are 2. I wont give away what’s in them in case you’ve not received your box yet. I will try to include other businesses for you to try. It wont be every month but it just so happens that there will also be something in April’s box along with a new product launch AND another new soap. If you would like to get your hands on April’s box then these will be released on 8thMarch.
So just a quick update really but I really wanted to say a huge thank you for your support. Our sales are going from strength to strength and I would not have believed it this time last year that I would now have my own unit. It’s all thanks to you guys.
